 Other aspects around the use and maintenance of industrial lift trucks.

Mr Takacs noted that every year in Australia there are workplace deaths and injuries involving forklifts. These incidents have a huge financial and social impact on workers, families, businesses and the community.

“That’s why it’s important that every business has an individual who is responsible for driving its forklift safety culture,” he said. “If you are the person responsible for forklift safety within your business, we invite you to attend our 2018 Forklift Safety Seminar. This seminar will ensure you are kept up to date with the latest forklift safety standards, guidelines, training and technology.”
There is no cost to attend. Registrations are, however, required as places are limited. If you wish to attend, please contact the AITA Secretariat.

The AITA is very pleased to support the Workplace Health and Safety Show, and will also give a presentation at a seminar on Innovation and Collaboration which is being conducted by the Workplace Health and Safety Show on Thursday 24 May 2018, commencing at 10.30am.
